It is possible. It can be done in most EGSnrc applications: BEAMnrc, DOSXYZnrc, egs_chamber, etc. What you need first are the physical and chemical characteristics of the EBT3 film, in order to model it in the simulation, as a set of slabs (SLABS component module in BEAMnrc, voxels in DOSXYZNrc, xyz geometry in egs_chamber, etc.)

This whole idea has me curious. The conventional wisdom is that EBT3 is thin enough that when sandwiched inside a solid water phantom it can be treated as water. We’ve done a lot of comparisons of watertank vs film vs simulation for the project that got me started in EGS in the first place and didn’t run across a situation that forced us to model EBT3 directly. Could I ask what you’re doing and what problem you’re seeing that’s leading you down this rabbit hole?
