I am planning to create a phantom represents male pelvis(simple structures) to use it later in dosxyz either via a script (like matlab)or egs++. Has anyone done work similar to this? if yes, can you please share your experience

when i use BEAMnrc I have this issue where I can not run the simulation with more than
10 000 000 histories! I can make run with 1000 000 histories through few seconds but when the number of histories increase the running window still more than 3 hour like this pic nothing changes,
your help is appreciated.

I ran my simulation when I loaded a file with a large voxel size and 1e2 histories, but when I tweaked the size of the voxel and 3e9 histories, I got the following error:

I am running a simulation in egs_chamber, where I have TLDs in bedded in a Virtual water phantom. I want to track every particle interaction that contributes to the final dose in each region that I specify to score dose. I have tried using the ausgab object definition: egs_dose_scoring and recompling egs_chamber after uncommenting out the energy deposition code in the egs-chamber.cpp file. However, none of those things provide the information I am looking for in my output (.egslog) file. Are there any other options that I can look into to track all particle interaction?

I am interested to calculate the mean energy deposited and dose deposited inside the volume of my interest by some random distribution of radio-isotope inside the volume of interest or outside it. I want Edeposited = Edeposited/no. of events(units of keV) and Dose= Edep/no. of events*mass of the volume of interest(Units of Gy/Bq.s). But EGSnrc provides results in MeV*cm2 and Gy*cm2. I am unable to relate the output I am getting with EGSnrc to the literature or other MC code. I am planning to make some changes to the code of Ausgab object to get my desired units as output. What is your opinion? How should I proceed?

My first question is the the output shows the average energy deposited and dose deposited?
Second is about the units. Like in case of energy deposited it is MeV*cm2 and for dose is Gy*cm2. Whereas I am interested in Gy/Bq.s that is dose deposited per decay. Do they mean the same thing?

I a new to egs and trying to build a linac in beamnrc what CM type that I should choose if I want to model a part of the linac consisting of many cylinders inside each other with the cylindrical structures change in number at different layers?
one more question if the linac is displayed in the requested structure in the preview window does it mean the MC are defined and properly selected in terms of their type?
what those errors mean?
