A new version EGSnrc 2016 has been released:
http://nrc-cnrc.github.io/EGSnrc/
This marks the first official release of EGSnrc on github, under the terms of the AGPL 3.0 licence. EGSnrc releases are now tagged by year, and v2016 follows the deprecated version number V4-2.4.0 (released in March 2013). BEAMnrc is now integrated in EGSnrc and does not need to be installed separately.

Thank you Frederic and your colleagues for the efforts to release the new version of EGSnrc, which plays a major role in the medical physics field for many years. I was wondering, is there any file or a section that describes the main changes between the last version 2013 and the new one?

Hello,
I’ve followed the install instructions – it’s much better than it was before. But, for some reason, dosxynrc doesn’t seem to have installed – does this need to be done separately?

Indeed dosxyznrc is normally installed by default. Perhaps yous simply did not opt to compile the EGSnrc applications at the end of the configuration script? Check by going into your dosxyznrc directory and issuing the ‘make’ command. Otherwise, please document the error condition and submit as an issue: https://github.com/nrc-cnrc/EGSnrc/issues.

Frederic Tessier Hi, Frederic, I am wondering ho my most current post for EGS question, never show up in the EGSnrc Home page. Is there any technical issue associated? I do want to share my problem with others.
